The Corruption: The Infusion of Pagan Rituals into Church Festivals is a thought-provoking examination of the historical origins of certain customs and traditions associated with Christianity's two most widely celebrated festivals—Christmas and Easter.

Drawing on biblical teachings, historical accounts and religious traditions, Henry Nwachukwu explores how practices associated with ancient pagan cultures may have influenced Christian celebrations over the centuries.

The book examines the beliefs, symbols and rituals associated with ancient deities such as Ishtar, Eostre, Sol and Odin, tracing their perceived similarities with customs that have become familiar features of modern Christmas and Easter festivities.

Through five carefully structured chapters, the author considers the biblical warnings against idolatry and religious syncretism, the historical development of Christian festivals, and the continued presence of non-biblical traditions in contemporary Church celebrations.

Beyond identifying these influences, the book challenges Christians and Church leaders to critically examine established practices and reconsider whether they align with the principles of biblical worship.

It concludes with practical recommendations for reforming Christmas and Easter celebrations, encouraging a renewed emphasis on Christ, scriptural teachings and worship in spirit and truth.

Featuring biblical references, historical discussions and illustrations, The Corruption invites readers to reflect on the relationship between religious tradition, cultural influence and authentic Christian worship.

Ideal for: Christians, pastors, Church leaders, Bible study groups, theology students and readers interested in Church history, religious traditions and biblical teachings.

Website Description

Science and the Bible: A Symbiosis! Not Conflict! is a thought-provoking exploration of the relationship between modern scientific discoveries and biblical teachings, challenging the widely held perception that science and Christian faith are fundamentally opposed.

Drawing on Scripture, scientific concepts, historical discoveries and theological interpretations, Henry Nwachukwu presents a Christian perspective on how scientific knowledge and biblical revelation can complement rather than contradict one another.

Across seven engaging chapters, the book examines fascinating subjects including the laws of thermodynamics, oceanography, the origins of the universe, evolution, the biblical accounts of creation, the Big Bang theory and the relationship between faith, knowledge and scientific inquiry.

Particular attention is given to Genesis Chapters 1 and 2, exploring the distinction between creation and formation and offering an interpretation of how biblical accounts of creation may be reconciled with scientific explanations of life's development.

The author also considers how scientific investigation can deepen humanity's appreciation of God's wisdom, creativity and power, while encouraging Christians to embrace knowledge and approach scientific discoveries with open minds.

Ultimately, the book presents science not as an adversary of Christianity, but as a valuable tool for understanding the natural world and appreciating the Creator.

Written in accessible language, Science and the Bible invites readers to reconsider the perceived divide between faith and reason and discover a perspective in which both can coexist.

Ideal for: Christians, Bible study groups, theology students, science enthusiasts, educators and readers interested in the relationship between religion, science and the origins of life.
